Business Valuation Analyst
Senior Manager & Senior Analyst Positions
New York City, New York
We are looking for two individuals who have chosen a career in business valuation and forensic accounting.
Our practice has grown by providing our clients with a quality work product. The vast majority of our engagements are litigation oriented which include, but is not limited to:
- Shareholder disputes,
- Economic damages analysis,
- Divorce,
- Bankruptcy,
- Fraud examination, and
- Various tax matters.
Your current experience should include the following:
- Independently analyze subject company and prepare company specific financial narratives.
- Review and utilize industry benchmarks and economic trends.
- Propose normalization adjustments to the balance sheet and income statement for purposes of estimating initial indicated value.
- Mature understanding of the Asset, Market, and Income valuation methods and related concepts.
- Design and implement financial models.
- Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Have obtained or are working towards industry accepted licenses/accreditations. (i.e. CPA, ABV, CFF, ASA, CVA, CBA, CFE, CFA)
- Three to four years of experience for the Senior Associate position.
- Over seven years of experience for the Senior Manager position.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and mutl-task.
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
