We are seeking an experienced Accounting / Administrative Assistant to contribute excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills in supporting our accountants on complex litigation cases and financial investigations. Paralegal experience a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Litigation Support: Provide comprehensive support to attorneys and forensic accountants in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial records, statements, and transactions to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential evidence for litigation purposes.
  • Document Review: Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents, contracts, reports, and other relevant materials to extract key information and support case strategy.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth research on legal and financial matters, precedents, regulations, and industry trends to support case preparation and analysis.
  • Case Management: Organize and manage case files, maintain databases, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of all relevant information and communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, forensic accountants, and other professionals to facilitate communication, information exchange, and project.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor’s degree.
Experience
  • 2+ years of prior experience working in either an accounting or law firm or local/state government
Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction and/or guidance
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Mature analytical ability
  • Capacity to exercise informed judgment in key decisions
  • Ability to organize workload and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet crucial deadlines and work objectives
  • An advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
  • Preferred: Intimate knowledge of Clio Practice Management Software and QuickBooks
Compensation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
