We are seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant / Business Valuation Analyst to contribute not only their years of expert knowledge and insight, but their innovative problem-solving abilities to our team of passionate forward-thinkers.

Responsibilities
  • Review financial data to identify inaccuracies and trace discrepancies
  • Perform penetrative forensic analyses of historical financial information
  • Prepare independent expert reports for complex litigation and valuation matters
  • Provide litigation support and present findings to be used as trial evidence
  • Provide courtroom testimony
  • Review revenue and expense projections
  • Assess losses and potential damage awards
  • Work closely with attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active and current CPA designation
  • Certification related to forensic accounting, business valuation, or fraud
Experience
  • 3+ years of prior experience working in either a boutique forensic accounting firm or a forensic practice in a mid- to large-sized accounting firm
  • 3+ years’ experience performing business valuation, economic damage analysis, forensic accounting, and/or litigation support
Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction and/or guidance
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Mature analytical ability
  • Capacity to exercise informed judgement in key decisions
  • Ability to organize workload and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet crucial deadlines and work objectives
  • An advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
Compensation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
